The Foundation is originally designed to work as a nodal agency for disseminating up to date information to the people making them aware of all the happenings around their life. Since then, we have expanded our work for the people in some of the most challenging areas of Odisha.
Child labour is a vexatious issue exists not only in the state of Odisha but as a national issue. Bobby Mohanty Foundation adopted the mechanism to eradicate the Child Labor System existing in the whole country through its literacy Programmes for the Adults, Parents and to work hand to hand with National Child Labour Projects (NCLP). It aims not only to literate the adults ,they also will be made aware of different issues in their community .Bobby Mohanty Foundation promotes and encourages the rural artisans through the process of LEARNING AND EARNING. The SHGs are also encouraged to promote their Handicraft and Handloom activities throughout India and aboard.
The Foundation lays Priority to promote science and technology among school students through organizing exhibition. The Panchayat Raj representatives are entrusted to monitor the entire rural programs i. e Health, Education and other activities related to Social Development. Bobby Mohanty Foundation has given top priority to Panchayat Raj Institutions (PRIS). A Series of Programmes and activities involving the elected members of the Panchayat Raj are being made on Implementation of different schemes of the Govt. The Foundation is committed to create awareness and sensitize the targeted groups for taking up effective health care in the Community.
Keeping in view of its future plan and programme, a systematic action plan has been drawn towards sustenance of the Programme and to have a follow- up programmes linking all social welfare activities so as to create a healthy and learning society for a brighter future of the state.

Bobby Mohanty foundation focuses on information, education and communication so as to improve the socio-economic condition of the rural mass along with the political empowerment of women and self help groups. It promotes activities of the women to do away the social evils. Foundation also concentrating on the backward and educationally disadvantaged groups of urban/rural population such as men, women, youth, employed, self employed, illiterate, neo-literate, prospective workers and their family members. Priority is to be to women, youth, adults, neo-literate, semi-literate, SC&ST, minorities, oppressed women, girl, slum, pavement dwellers. It also focuses on Art & craft, business & economic, child & youth, community development, education, health, nutrition, sanitation & hygiene, human rights & social justice, girls education, women empowerment, women education, women rights, personal development, micro finances and violence against women.
